Alia Bhatt responded to people who said her acting as Gangubai Kathiawadi looked like Kangana Ranaut and Vidya Balan.
“I have not heard any of this,” the actress responded to questions about her appearance in Gangubai being compared to Indian National Award-winning actresses.
In response to a query regarding whether or not she was the best fit for the part of the mafia queen, she said, “I believe, yes, others must have proposed casting.” However, I believe that one should avoid entering a A filmmaker who has been in the business for 25 years would undoubtedly know who to cast as their primary character. I was fine with people not believing I was the right person for the part because their perspective is their own, and frankly, it doesn’t matter to me as long as the director believes I am the right person for the part. “
