Raveena admits that her primary objection to motion picture rape scenes
When actress Raveena Tandon refused to take part in kissing scenes or wear a “swimming costume” in a movie, the word “arrogant” was uttered. In a recent interview, she said that she would only consent to rape scenes in her films provided her clothing remained entirely untouched. She claimed to be the “only actress” who adhered to this guideline.
Raveena recently spoke about the body-shaming she encountered in Bollywood. She saw that the male performers’ words served as the last words. She claims that, as they body shame and slut shame them in an effort to bring them down, other women are the “worst” foes of other women. She asserted that she left the business after being married to film distributor Anil Thadani because she was so repulsed by the “viciousness” of journalism in the 1990s.
“I used to feel apprehensive about a lot of things,” Raveena admitted to ANI. Consider some dance steps. If I weren’t comfortable, I would say, “Listen, I’m not comfortable with this step.” No, I wouldn’t do it. I objected to her performing any kissing scenes or donning a bikini. I then had a foundation. The only actor to do two rape scenes without any discernible dress rips was myself. I used to dress completely intracranially.

Raveena made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Patthar Ke Phool (1991). She went on to become one of the most well-known actors of the 1990s as a result of her parts in movies like Mohra, Andaz Apna Apna, Laadla, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Dulhe Raja, and others.
The actor will soon be seen opposite Sanjay Dutt in Ghudchadi after most recently appearing in KGF: Chapter 2. She is now working on Patna Shukla by Arbaaz Khan and the second season of her Netflix web series Aranyak.
