Shah Rukh Khan to get career fulfillment award at Locarno Film Festival

Shah Rukh Khan is ready to be honored with a professional fulfillment award, Pardo alla Carriera, at the upcoming Locarno Film Festival for contributing to the cinema arena in the closing three decades.

SRK will be given the award on the festival’s Piazza Grande on August 10. The award might be passed over after a special screening of the 2002 movie Devdas.

There may also be a unique chat consultation with the target market after the screening, and SRK’s fans get a hazard to speak to the superstar.

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Devdas obtained several awards in India and secured a BAFTA nomination.

The movie, starring Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, Kirron Kher, Smita Jaykar, and Vijayendra Ghatge, revolves around Devdas Mukherjee (played via SRK), who struggles with alcoholism after his circle of relatives opposes his wedding ceremony to his youth love Parvati “Paro” (played by way of Aishwarya).

According to Deadline, Locarno’s Artistic Director Giona A. Nazzaro said, “To welcome a residing legend like Shah Rukh Khan in Locarno is a dream come true.

The wealth and breadth of his contribution to Indian cinema is extraordinary. Khan is a king who has never lost touch with the target audience that crowned him.”
