Vicky Kaushal’s Unsuccessful Audition for Shah Rukh-Katrina’s “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” Revealed

Reports have surfaced claiming that Vicky Kaushal, the husband of Katrina Kaif, auditioned for the 2012 romantic film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” directed by Yash Chopra but unfortunately failed to secure a role in the movie.

The film starred Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, in the lead role of Major Samar Anand, with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma also playing prominent characters.

In an interview with the Indian media, actor Sharib Hashmi, who was a part of “Jab Tak Hai Jaan,” disclosed that Vicky Kaushal had auditioned for the character of Zain. However, the film’s management team was not impressed with his performance and ultimately decided to reject him for the role.

Despite this setback, Vicky Kaushal later made his mark as a lead actor in the 2015 drama film “Masaan” and went on to star in Anurag Kashyap’s psychological thriller “Raman Raghav 2.0” (2016). He has since garnered praise for his performances in films such as “Raazi,” “Manmarziyaan,” and “Sanju.”

Although Vicky Kaushal may have missed the opportunity to be a part of “Jab Tak Hai Jaan,” his talent and dedication have propelled him to become one of the most promising actors in the industry today.
