Pakistani Cricketers Grace Shahid Afridi’s Daughter’s Wedding in Karachi
Several players from the Pakistani men’s cricket team attended the wedding ceremony of Shahid Afridi’s daughter in Karachi. Among the esteemed guests were the captain of all formats, Babar Azam, along with Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Imam ul Haq, Shan Masood, Hassan Ali, Aamir Jamal, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
In addition to the cricket players, cricket legends Waqar Younis, Moin Khan, Mohammad Akram, TV host Waseem Badami, and Federal Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel were also spotted at the wedding, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
The team members were originally scheduled to travel to Islamabad to attend Haris Rauf’s wedding event. However, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) restricted the players from traveling. This decision was made as the national team is set to travel to Sri Lanka for an upcoming Test series.
Babar XI will be traveling to Sri Lanka to participate in two Test matches. The first game is scheduled to be held from 16th to 20th July at Galle International Cricket Stadium, while the second match will take place from 24th to 28th July at Singhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
