Twinkle Khanna says, “It’s not our job to give our kids the perfect childhood.”

On her Instagram page, Twinkle Khanna wrote a message about being a parent. She posted a picture of herself kissing her daughter Nitara and wrote in the caption that parents are not responsible for giving their kids a “perfect childhood.” She instead urged parents to encourage their kids’ creativity and not focus on their flaws.
Twinkle wrote, “It’s not our job to make sure our kids have the best childhood possible.” It’s to give them ideas, recognise their strengths, and make them aware, but it’s never to point out their flaws. It means loving them like crazy and making them eat some vegetables. We have to keep a lot of our brain cells focused on their mosquito bites, bad grades, and hurt feelings.
“And we have to do all of this every day without forgetting who we are and what we can be in addition to being their mothers.”
