Son of Anwar Maqsood confirms all social media accounts in his father’s name are fake

Renowned Pakistani writer Anwar Maqsood does not possess any official social media accounts, confirmed his son, musician Bilal Maqsood.

Bilal Maqsood took to social media to address the issue, posting a screenshot of a Twitter account bearing Anwar Maqsood’s name and stating that it is fake. He further emphasized that all accounts claiming to be his father’s are fraudulent.

In his tweet, Bilal clarified that Anwar Maqsood does not have any presence on social media platforms. The only genuine content featuring his father can be found in videos. Bilal also debunked any quotes attributed to his father on social media, affirming that they are also fabricated.

Anwar Maqsood is a celebrated Pakistani scriptwriter, television presenter, satirist, and humorist. He is widely recognized for his remarkable contributions to popular television dramas such as “Aangan Terha,” “Sona Chandi,” and “Half Plate.”

Moreover, Anwar Maqsood has also left an indelible mark with his outstanding stage plays, including “Sawa 14 August,” “Pawnay 14 August,” and “Saadhay 14 August,” which have garnered immense acclaim from audiences.
