The Legend of Maula Jatt, a Pakistani movie starring Hamza Ali Abbasi that won an award, has made more than 150 crores around the world. In an exclusive interview given by Bilal Lashari to promote this movie, Hamza talked about Ayeza Khan’s sarcastic comment that he is a pain.
Ayeza said on a YouTube show that working with Hamza on their popular TV show Pyarey Afzal wasn’t easy. “Yes, I have worked with Hamza, but it’s very hard because he laughs so much,” the Laapata diva said. In particular, he laughs a lot when things are serious or when he should be feeling a certain way.
When the host, Uzair Anwer, asked Hamza how he felt about Ayeza’s joke, he said, “I stay true to myself on the sets.” Even when we have to shoot angry or serious scenes, I’m not the kind of actor who would want to take that exact stance. I can’t just sit around being serious all the time because I like to have fun and help other people do the same.
When asked if Ayeza Khan or Hania Aamir are his favourite co-stars so far, Hamza said that he has had fun with all of his leading ladies, but that Ayesha Khan has been his best female co-star so far.
