Huma Qureshi, the Badlapur actress, exposes the salary disparity that exists in Bollywood.
She went on to talk about the spending priorities for male and female superstars.
“Equal compensation for equal labor,” stated Huma. Two people should be compensated equally if they are performing at comparable levels in terms of their careers and box office, yet they are not. It’s really sad.
She gave herself as an example to explain the situation: “Use me as an example.”
It’s commonly believed that male-led action movies succeed but female-led ones fail, according to Huma. If you look at the ratio of male to female leads in movies, it’s incredibly unbalanced. But now, some female celebrities are employed.
