Varun Dhawan and Varun Dhawan first made their cinematic appearance together in the movie “The Wedding Singer.” The actor answered the question, “Yes, I want to reunite with her again on screen,” adding ironically, that he would play the nanny.
Soon Alia and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child.
After making their acting debuts in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2012, Varun and Alia worked together on two films: Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya & Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.
Their most recent appearance was in Kalank, Karan Johar’s epic drama. All of the movies, except Kalank, were commercially successful and the audiences loved seeing them together.
Varun answered Pinkvilla’s question about the possibility of him reuniting with Alia onscreen. He said, “She is someone that is very close to me, and we have incredible chemistry.” It’s impossible to do that today. We are close friends. We care about each other and treat each other with respect. Alia is someone I want to work again. It is possible, perhaps in the near future. I’ll be a nanny and the child will ride in the stroller.
Ranbir and Alia were married in secret in April. In June, they made their pregnancy news public. Varun then responded to the news with “JugJugg Jeyo.”
Varun was most recently seen in JugJugg Jeeyo which did well at the box-office. Maniesh Paul stars in the movie. The film is also directed by Prajakta Koli and Neetu Kapoor.
There are a few other movies he has planned for the future. Janhvi Kapoor’s Bawaal and Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal are two of these. He will also be seen in Bhediya, a film by Amar Kaushik that also stars Kriti Sanon & Abhishek Benerjee.
