Renowned Bollywood singer Yo Yo Honey Singh recently found himself in a state of fear after receiving death threats from notorious gangster Goldy Brar. Brar, who has also been accused of the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosay Wala, sent the threats to Singh in the form of voice notes.

The Desi Kalakar singer, visibly shaken by the incident, shared his concerns with the media, stating, “I’m scared. I have received a threat for the first time in my life, and I am scared. We received some voice notes also. We received these threats from international phone numbers.”

Singh, who visited the Delhi police to file a complaint against the gangster, is still haunted by the incident. The 40-year-old singer, known for his popular tracks like “Sunny Sunny,” “Dil Chori,” and “Lungi Dance,” expressed his shock as he had only received love and support from fans worldwide.

In response to the threat, the Delhi police have provided security to Honey Singh, acknowledging his concerns. They have also revealed that Goldy Brar is currently hiding in Canada.

Sadly, death threats and harassment are not uncommon for Bollywood stars. In the past, celebrities like Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have also faced similar situations, receiving threatening calls or voice notes.

It is worth noting that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala had previously received death threats before being brutally murdered. Goldy Brar, the same gangster accused in Moose Wala’s murder, is now targeting Honey Singh.

Brar is affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and was recently named one of Canada’s top 25 wanted criminals by the Canadian government. Interpol has charged him with murder, criminal conspiracy, and illegal firearms supply in India. The ongoing case has raised concerns about the safety and security of artists in the industry.
