Khan recently appeared on “Super Over,” the show her adoring husband hosts, and talked about why she decided to leave the fashion industry.
Khan also talked about the things that changed her personality in general and what made her decide to start living a religious life.
Khan said this when asked about herself: “I think of myself as a woman who has been through many different things.” “I kept in close touch with my friends from the west when I lived in the UK.”
Khan also said, “Before going home after spending Christmas with us, my friends changed out of their short dresses and into long skirts and pants.” I was surprised by what they did and asked them why. They told me, “Since we’re going home, there’s no reason for us to wear these clothes at home.”
The actress who used to work said about her realisation, “I then realised that even though western culture has a lot of influence on us, it is not even their real culture; they dress modestly at home, too.” I used to wear short clothes, too, but that event changed who I am in a very important way.
Khan, feeling better, said, “People respected me when I wore short clothes, but now that I wear a hijab, they call me a Peerni or a fundamentalist.” I want future generations to know that we should stick to our culture instead of trying to copy the culture of the West, which isn’t right.
