Nushrratt Bharuccha: Top slot not worth fighting for, says actress

Nushrratt Bharuccha, who debuted with Jai Santoshi Maa in 2006, recently shared her thoughts on fighting for the top spot in the industry. According to her, she does not believe in competing for the top slot.

Nushrratt has faced degradation from filmmakers at some point in her career, who have told her that she won’t look good on posters. However, she feels that films cannot be sold only on poster value, and that if one’s work is good, it will speak for itself.

The actress, who has been part of successful films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Ram Setu, Selfiee, and Dream Girl, mentioned that she enjoys working with new people who have fresh ideas and can create something unique.

Although Nushrratt was replaced in the sequel of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl, she said she will still support the team when Dream Girl 2 releases.
