Esha Deol Spills the Beans on Missing Out on Major Roles in Omkara & Golmaal

Bollywood’s own Esha Deol has ridden the rollercoaster of the film industry for over 20 years, with some epic highs and a few bumps along the way. From rocking the screens in hits like Kaal, Dhoom, and the hilarious No Entry, she’s truly been a force to reckon with. And you know what? Recently, in a candid chat, Esha wore her heart on her sleeve and revealed her dreams of sharing the limelight with the dashing Salman Khan and the intense Ajay Devgn yet again. And oh boy, she didn’t stop there! She also dished on the movies she wished she’d been a part of and – spoiler alert – they include biggies like Omkara and Golmaal.

Now, get this. When prodded about the roles she might’ve regretted passing on, Esha, with a tinge of nostalgia, admitted to saying ‘no’ to some serious blockbusters! We’re talking the soul-stirring Omkara by Vishal Bhardwaj and the side-splitting Golmaal by the maestro, Rohit Shetty. She sighed, “A few big ones did come knocking. Can’t really put my finger on why I passed. Golmaal, Omkara… a few more.” But, ever the sport, she tipped her hat to the leading ladies who eventually snagged those roles, saying, “The gals who jumped in? Man, they knocked it outta the park!”

Remember Omkara from 2006? With heavy hitters like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Saif Ali Khan? And hey, who can forget the laughter riot that was Golmaal, starring our very own Ajay Devgn again, along with a bunch of other cool cats? So, when the million-dollar question popped up about her dream co-stars, Esha, without missing a beat, gushed, “Gotta be Ajay Devgn. And the charming Salman. Working with them? Pure gold!” Little birdie tells us Esha and Ajay recently came together for Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, after their past rendezvous in films like Kaal. And let’s not forget her and Salman setting the screen on fire in No Entry. What a ride, eh?
