Social comedy is not Ayushmann Khurrana’s cup of tea. A National Award-winner is the star of “Action Hero.” In order to push himself, Ayushmann Khurrana stated he was making “genre-breaker” films. He will now participate in Dinesh Vijan’s scary comedy.
He said that Rajkummar Rao would work with Ayushmann Khurrana and Varun Dhawan on upcoming horror comedies. The well-known producer launched a horror comedy franchise with the 2018 blockbuster Stree, which starred Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Following the success of Stree, the producer returned with Roohi, the second film in the series and his second collaboration with Rajkummar. Although Janhvi Kapoor performed the lead role, the film only made an average amount of money. Now, the third film, Bhediya, with lead actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is ready to be released. On the other hand, a sequel to Stree will be released very soon.
Unverified rumours claim that Ayushmann Khurrana is in discussions with Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik on a new horror comedy with a vampire theme. However, neither the filmmakers nor the actor have addressed any of these rumours to date. After Bhediya comes out, there will probably be an official announcement about the project that everyone is looking forward to.
