Ahmed Ali Butt expressed, “During the time I was working on Punjab Nahi Jaungi, The Legend of Maula Jatt came to me. I was offered the role of Faris. It was a well-known fact, and ultimately, it was Bilal’s decision to take a different approach with the character. I was ready for it, and Faris was also considered. I even auditioned for the film, but they eventually chose Faris.”
