Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 7: Prabhas-starrer Struggles, Earns Only Rs 3.15 Crore in Hindi Despite Ticket Price Reduction

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, had a strong start at the Indian box office, but it faced a significant decline in collections afterward. Despite slashing ticket prices and making changes to controversial portions, the film has failed to see an improvement in its performance. On the seventh day of its release, the Prabhas-starrer could only manage to earn Rs 5.5 crore across all languages, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

The Hindi collections, which were Rs 3.8 crore on the sixth day, have dropped further to Rs 3.15 crore. The film had an occupancy rate of 10.17% in Hindi on Thursday. Adipurush’s nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 260.55 crore, making it the second-highest earner of the year so far. The top spot is still held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which earned Rs 543.05 crore in the domestic market, as reported by Bollywood Hungama.

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan reveals that Adipurush’s nett worldwide collection after seven days in theaters is Rs 370.15 crore.

T-Series claimed that the film grossed Rs 410 crore worldwide after six days. Adipurush reportedly had a budget of over Rs 500 crore.

The film received criticism for its dialogues and visual effects upon its release. While the makers have revised some objectionable dialogues and reduced ticket prices, the film’s performance at the box office has not improved. The ticket prices will remain at Rs 150 for the 3D version, with an additional cost for the glasses on Friday.

Adipurush has a clear opportunity to turn the tide at the box office this weekend, as it is the only Hindi theatrical release on June 23. The film features Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage in pivotal roles.
