Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a legendary Pakistani singer, recently opened up about being detained by Indian authorities in New Delhi in 2011.


For the first time in 11 years, the Zaroori Tha singer appeared on a television program to discuss the reason for his brief detention.

He claimed, “I got permission by evening of the same day” due to the actions of Pakistani officials.
Rahat Fateh, the late legend’s nephew and heir, is popular in both Pakistan and India and has worked on a number of projects there.
