The Crown star Humayun Saeed responded to Shaan Shaid’s criticism on Tuesday and won admirers with his kind and humorous retort. In reaction to the Zarrar star’s criticism, he tweeted,
The actor promoted Shaan’s film in his tweet and noted its November 25 release date before concluding, “All the best, Shaan bhai.”
He wrote, “Idhar bhi jaonga aur udhar bhi jaonga.”Zarrar dekhne bhi jaonga is another option.
For context, it should be mentioned that in an interview with a local media outlet yesterday, acclaimed actor Shaan Shahid lambasted the Pakistani film industry for not experimenting with different genres. Additionally, he made fun of Humayun Saeed’s popular films, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and London Nahi Jaunga.
There are many subjects that the directors are avoiding, he said, adding that the horror genre has to be explored much more. There is an entire sci-fi subgenre that directors will never even attempt.
“It can only be accomplished if we stop watching movies like Ider Nahi Jaungi and Uder Nhi Jaungi,” he continued.
Shaan Shahid, one of the most well-known actors in Pakistani films, has acted in both Urdu and Punjabi films. He is well-known for his parts in well-liked films by Bilal Lashari, including Khuda Kay Liye and Waar.
