Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor are now producing “The Crew,” which stars Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. They previously supported “Veere Di Wedding,” starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.
In an interview with a news website, Rhea talked about the box office success of “Veere Di Wedding,” saying she had not expected it to be as successful as it was. The movie had the highest opening ever for a movie with a female protagonist, and the producer acknowledged that she had miscalculated the size of the female audience.
Rhea went on to say that she sees no reason why a film aimed at women couldn’t be released during a significant holiday. She wishes to do something that thrills them, makes them feel represented, and offers them a big, thrilling movie on holiday, exactly like the lads have always done. Now that our audience has discovered their films and they have discovered our audience, Rhea reportedly told journalists that this is how the idea for the film came about.
Ekta added that Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti all contribute their own special personalities to the movie. She claims that, at their age, their beauty and acting prowess have elevated them to the top ranks of Bollywood’s leading ladies. They all ruled their respective decades and continue to enthral viewers. Ekta continued, “This ensemble is a dream, and they could not have been more thrilled.” No one else but these three could have been the main characters of “The Crew.”
