Swara Bhasker says that the way the media works is “weird and rough.”

Swara Bhasker recently sent a moving letter to the media. The actor recently went to Diwali parties put on by his friend Sonam Kapoor and the design team of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The actor wrote a note on Instagram Stories about how famous people were partying together while paparazzi were taking pictures of them all the time. Swara also said that the photographers work in a “weird and harsh environment” because they have to spend time away from their families, even on holidays, to take pictures of celebrities going to and leaving Diwali parties.

Swara Bhasker shared a paparazzi photo of herself on her Instagram Stories on Diwali and wrote, “The business of being famous is strange and depends on a lot of different things and people. One of these groups is the paparazzi. The service industry is the other one. When we get photographed, I often feel bad and wonder if the photographers ever get to spend holidays with their families.

Swara also said that celebrities wouldn’t be around today if the paparazzi didn’t take pictures of them. In her note, the actor went on to say, “I mean, I know it’s their job, but still. It really is a strange and harsh ecosystem… We’re all a part of it. Anyway. Happy Diwali to the good old paparazzi! If you weren’t there, neither would we. If you weren’t there, neither would we. “Happy Diwali!”
