The Iqra Aziz–Feroze Khan collaboration was canceled.

Actors in Lollywood have spoken out in support of Aliza Sultan, the ex-wife of Pakistani actor Feroze Khan, after allegations of domestic violence followed the couple everywhere they went.

Iqra Aziz is the newest name on the list, and she has joined Khan in speaking out against domestic violence. The actress from Suno Chanda has gone public with the news that she and Feroze Khan will no longer be working together.

The star of Choti Si Zindagi couldn’t keep her mouth shut on her position on the contentious issue. Aziz has been quite clear that the values of the on-screen couple in Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 cannot be the same as those of the real-life couple. In their most recent collaboration, Khan and Aziz were set to act alongside Imran Ashraf Awan and Feroze Khan in a Geo production titled Sanwal Yaar Piya, but Aziz has reportedly decided to bow out.

Aziz has spoken out against the attack on Khan, along with Ushna Shah, Dania Enwar, and the rest of Khan’s cast mates.

On Instagram, Aziz said, “Silence in the face of injustice is to take the side of the oppressor.”

The Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 star continued, “In light of the current domestic violence crisis, I have made the tough but necessary choice to retract my project with Feroze Khan.” I applaud Alizeh Sultan’s pursuit of justice and wish her success.

For those who are unaware, Khan has denied any wrongdoing and has vowed to take legal action against any and all reports of abuse.

Aziz’s most recent film appearances include Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3, Raqeeb Se, Jhooti, and Kasak.
