At the time, Alia was preoccupied with earning her International Baccalaureate, which is a degree I’m so delighted she was able to complete. Acting in a movie was still a distant dream, and we were not at all ready for it.
“The intention was for Alia to attend a theatrical school and then try to land a role in anything,” she continued.
