Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan open to discuss their surrogacy practices, show their registered marriage six years ago

Nayantharaand Vignesh Shivan’s birth of twins through surrogacy sparked controversy after the Tamil Nadu government called for an inquiry into them. In a statement, the Tamil Nadu government said that they would conduct an investigation to determine if they violated the laws on surrogacy. In the wake of the inquiry Nayanthara as well as Vignesh Shivan signed an affidavit in which they stated that they had been married for over six years ago and have welcomed twins through a surrogate who is a relative of her.

In an affidavit filed by Nayana and Vignesh Shivanrevealed that their wedding was legally registered six years ago. they got married in a lavish wedding ceremony in June 9th, 2022 in Mahabalipuram. The couple also gave their marriage certificate to prove. They also disclosed that the surrogate is a relatives from Dubai. They also stated that they registered to have a surrogate in the month of December 2021, a few just a few weeks before commercial surrogacy became prohibited in India. Since January 2022, surrogacy is illegal in India only in situations where a medical issue makes it impossible for a couple to have children.

Nayanthara along with Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in June after having been dating for nearly five years. The couple got married on Sunday. Vignesh posted on social media to announce that they had welcomed twins. Sharing a photo of Nayanthara and him kissing at their feet He wrote “Nayan and I have changed into Amma & Appa. We are blessed to have twins.”

Despite the controversy filmmaker Vignesh Shivan is enjoying fatherhood. He posted to his Instagram account recently to share photos of his outfit and peed by his son. He added a caption to the post “Dream come true… My son’s love on me.”

On working fronts, Nayanthara will be making her Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. The highly-anticipated film is the debut film of renowned filmmaker Atlee’s working with King Khan. Also, she is working on Malayalam film Gold together with Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is set to premiere in the near future.

However, Vignesh Shivan will next take over the helm of Ajith Kumar’s project, which is slated to be called AK61.
