We saw many promising new voices due to Pakistan Idol, but it also caused a lot controversy. The show was often a source of controversy as well as instances of judges acting rudely towards viewers. Similar to this, we saw Qandeel Baloch who has since passed away.

When Bushra Ansari made an appearance as guest on the show “Hasna Mana Hai,”” Tabish Hashmi questioned her about the reality of the show. She acknowledged that while the show certainly featured singing talent however, it was also fake. She said that although Ali Azmat could play the role however, she was a gentle personality. She was not rude to people or even kill the characters, whereas Hadiqa was a person with a balanced approach towards stifling.

She added that she had requested management to dismiss her for being incapable of treating people harshly. They showed her video clips that showed Indian Idol judges interacting with contestants to see if she could imitate their actions. Furthermore as per Bushra Ansari, some of the characters on the show were just included for fun effect and weren’t intended to be taken seriously.
