Kamaal R. Khan was let go because of old tweets, but he stays in jail.

A report says that Kamaal R. Khan, also known as KRK, was given bail by a Mumbai court on Tuesday. Versova Police had a body of evidence against the former entertainer and film critic for an attack in 2021. This led to his arrest.

Kamaal will stay in jail, though, because his bail request will be heard by the Borivali judge court in 2020 in another case related to his allegedly slanderous tweets about actor Akshay Kumar, producer Ram Gopal Verma, and other people.

The Borivali Metropolitan Justice Court will probably hear KRK’s bail request in the 2020 case on Wednesday.

KRK was taken into custody at the Mumbai airport on August 30 because of his old tweets and sent away by the Borivali judge court.

A PTI report says that the Versova police took guardianship of KRK in the attack case on Sunday, and he was placed under the watchful eye of the Bandra court.

Kamaal’s bail request, which was recorded by his lawyers in front of the Bandra judge court, said that most of the things in the First Information Report (FIR) didn’t match up with the supposed attack.

His lawyers said in front of the judge that the FIR was filed a year and a half after the event, and that it was only done because the victim’s friend asked her to. This was reported by PTI.

He also said that the section of the Indian Penal Code used against KRK was bailable. The court agreed with KRK’s request.

The attack body of evidence against KRK was supposedly put together in June 2021 after a 27-year-old person spoke out against it. The person who filed the complaint said that KRK had called her to his cabin in Versova under the pretence of giving her the main role in a movie.

According to PTI, the police said that KRK’s Tweets from 2020 were common and that he named Bollywood actors.

He was arrested in 2020 under Sections 153 (wantonly giving incitement with the intent to cause a mob) and 500 (punishment for defamation) of the IPC and the Information Technology Act, as well as other sections and sections of these laws.

Taapsee Pannu and Hansal Mehta have recently talked about what KRK tweeted about the entertainment industry. “They’ve been bad-mouthing every movie I’ve made. Because I don’t send them any of those things that you have to write good things about me in order to get, and because I don’t really acknowledge their presence.

Taapsee had said, “There are people who are like deemak, which are termites that eat away at the very fibres of the ground they stand on.”
